Eda Sutunc
Eda graduated from Koc University where she held an Academic scholarship in 2015, with a BA in Media and Visual Arts, and a Minor in Psychology. In 2017, she received her MFA degree in Studio Art with a Dean’s Scholarship, from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Additionally, she received her PhD in Communication from Kadir Has University with a Fully Funded Fellowship, in 2019. She acquired teaching experiences as an Adjunct Instructor in Koc, Ozyegin, and Kadir Has Universities. In her work, she explores what it means to be a human in the present day, the past, and the future. She researches how gender and sexuality is built within rigid systematic frameworks and weave utopian and fictional narratives in understanding today’s social and political struggles.
