The American Turkish Society will showcase Turkey at the annual 92nd Street Y Festival on Sunday, September 15. The festival is a cultural event held by 92Y annually and features street vendors, booths by museums and other cultural organizations, family activities, and performances in music and dance. The festival stretches from 79th Street to 94th Street along Lexington Avenue, attracting an enormous audience that includes residents from throughout New York City.

The Society’s booth on Turkey will display the best of what Turkish culture offers including snacks by Simit & Smith, live cello performance by Temi Hason, beautiful jewelry items for sale by Etkie to benefit craftswomen from Turkey, a wide selection of Cornucopia issues for display, and so much more. The booth will also provide an opportunity to increase the community’s awareness of and participation in The Society’s initiatives towards strengthening US-Turkey relations. Please join us and thousands of New Yorkers at this fun and culturally enriching event.
