Message of Gratitude to the Society

My name is Sude, and I’m a pianist from Istanbul, Turkey. I’m currently a student at Üsküdar American Academy, one of Turkey’s most selective high schools. I continue my musical education part-time at Istanbul University State Conservatory, where I work with some of Turkey’s leading professors and regularly participate in masterclasses and international competitions. It is an incredible honor to receive this scholarship in memory of Arif Mardin at one of the world’s most prestigious music institutions. Because of your support, I had the unforgettable opportunity to live and study on Berklee’s campus, and to take classes in piano, musicianship, theory, and ensemble with world-class faculty.
