Ford & Koç Holding
On March 29, 2006, The American Turkish Society Gala Dinner celebrated the 50-year partnership of Ford Motor Company and Koç Holding, and inaugurated this annual event to commemorate successful joint ventures of American and Turkish corporations, honoring William Clay Ford, Jr. and Mustafa V. Koç. The event raised nearly $400,000 with vital contributions from the honorees, members of our Board of Directors, corporate and individual members, and other friends of The Society. The proceeds benefited The Society’s philanthropic programs and significantly expanded its educational and cultural initiatives.
