On May 7, 2007, The American Turkish Society Gala Dinner celebrated the partnership of Citigroup and Sabancı Holding in Akbank, the most profitable banking institution in Turkey. The event, held at The Waldorf Astoria in New York City honored Chuck Prince, Chairman, and CEO of Citigroup, and Güler Sabancı, Chairperson and Managing Director of Sabancı Holding.
